We’ve been helping Goodwills implement point-of-sale and donation management solutions since 2006. In the beginning, we tried to follow the adage “buy tactical build strategic” and find an off-the-shelf tactical POS package that could be configured to meet the needs of most Goodwills. We quickly discovered that “if you’ve seen one Goodwill, you’ve seen one Goodwill.” Every Goodwill has its own character, and no size fits all. Goodwills need strategic custom design, implementation, training, and support.

Donated Goods Retail (DGR) is a unique way of doing business. We think that your point of sale and donation management platforms should fit your organization — not the other way around. Solutions ITW wants to meet you where you are. Here’s how we do it:

Customizable Design

We don’t configure a standard POS package for donated goods retail. Instead, we find out how each of our Goodwill partners likes to do business, and then we work with them to design a unique implementation system. Our product can be configured to meet the specific and unique needs of any Goodwill organization in the world.
